New Soulsavers album, Imposter, announced

The "Imposter" has been revealed, and it's the name of a brand-new Soulsavers album, with a release date of November 12, 2021! It can be pre-saved on Spotify or Apple Music via this link. The first single, "Metal Heart" (originally by Cat Power), will be released on October 8, 2021- this Friday. To celebrate, we at DGD now have a new page dedicated to the album (also under the "Music > Soulsavers" section)! On this page, I will start uploading previews of each track by listing the details about the original recording(s) and then give my predictions on how Dave's treatment of each might sound. In the meantime, check out this article from the June 2005 issue of Q magazine, where Dave actually once talked about a couple of the songs appearing on the new album:

It appears that the image on davegahan.com has been updated to show a silhouette of someone in front of the red curtains. That someone looks unmistakably like Dave. (As an aside, yes, I am well aware of the rumors circulating on what this could mean, but I will only report on official word, for now).

Something is definitely brewing over in Dave Gahan-land. The official Dave Gahan website has just undergone a makeover, showing what looks like red theater curtains and links to someone known as "The Imposter" all over social media. This could very well be linked to the rumors of the new Soulsavers album I just posted about earlier. We'll keep watching for an exciting announcement to be made very soon!

Rumors of a new Soulsavers album to be released this November have been circulating the internet, even reaching such sites like www.rollingstone.de (Rolling Stone Germany). The album is alleged to contain covers of artists like Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young. However, nothing official has been announced yet. As soon as it is, I will definitely post more about it here!
101 documentary being re-released in 4K

It's fair to say that for the longest time, a huge element missing from this website has been a section dedicated to live shows. So, I am now here to bring you that missing element, starting with a full review of Live Monsters, the critically-acclaimed live concert video from Dave's Paper Monsters tour! This new "Shows" section will continue to be expanded upon, too, mostly for reviews of officially-released concert videos, but I will welcome personal reviews of shows that people have attended, themselves, as well. If the latter is something that interests you and you would like to submit a review of a live show that you, yourself, have attended, and it was a solo Dave or Soulsavers show (not Depeche Mode), then please get in touch me here.
