Addendum to German Rolling Stone magazine article

In the June 2003 issue of the German Rolling Stone magazine, there was a short review of the Paper Monsters album, which I had missed. It is now there! I am still looking for an English translation of both articles, so if you are able to provide that, please get in touch with me.

If a movie about Depeche Mode were to be made sometime in the near future, who should be cast to play Dave Gahan? And what kind of qualities would such an actor need to have in order to do so? The latest article explores both of these questions! All in good fun, of course, as there isn't such a movie to be made anytime soon that I know of.

Did you know that Dave once appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine? At least in Germany, he did! I've uploaded a scan of this magazine to the "Print Media" section. I would also love for this article to be translated into English, so if you are able to do that, please drop me a line!

To be sure that this site will be one of the first to review Dave's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" for the upcoming album, The Metallica Blacklist, I've already created a page for it here. For now, I've just included my thoughts about the original song and what I know about Dave's cover, so far. Enjoy!

Dave Gahan to cover Metallica

Dave is covering the Metallica song, "Nothing Else Matters" (originally from The Black Album released in 1991) for a new album called The Metallica Blacklist. This album, which features 52 other artists, is set to be released on September 10, 2021!
In the official trailer for the album, Dave can be seen at the 1:11 mark:
